On Ethics

So I'm reading this book called On Ethics by Marshall Missner for my Intro to Moral Issues class. It fulfills some random requirement for the UNT system, so I'm in. But the first day of class really grabbed me and pulled me in. It was very intriguing. It's all about how do we determine which set of morals are right, and why they are right. Who decides they are right? Why are others wrong? If two moral laws contradict themselves, which do you follow? Why? It's quite fascinating. This is one of those books you want to read just for kicks because it's such an interesting topic/idea.

In other news, I played bass at church today--not too special, as I do this frequently. But someone came up afterwards and said, "man, you were really jamming up there today." That's never happened to me before. In fact, my parents always say I look dead on stage. Hmmm. Cool.

P.S. Get well soon, ma.
