Friends

It's amazing to me how I can talk to someone on AIM, who I haven't seen in probably a good 2 or 3 years, as if we communicate regularly. I suppose I've IMed these people a couple times here and there over the last 2 years, but certainly not regularly. I suppose that if you're relationship was previously well-established, it doesn't matter how long you go without seeing each other. Hmm. Interesting.

In music news, I've been on a song-writing spree this week. I wrote or developed two or three songs on the guitar this week, which increases my total significantly as I don't have many songs yet. Coupled with my couple of piano songs, I've pretty much got an album! I don't know what inspired my recent interest in songwriting, but it's been fun. Unfortunately, I can't write lyrics to songs. Believe me, I've tried. I just can't do it. I think if I had a definate melody, I could, but I don't. Some day soon I'll record some stuff and then one of you fine musicians out on the net can make some sweet tunes with me. Ricchuiti seems to believe I'm like the greatest musician around. I disagree. I may have talent, but I'm not by any means The Best.

In other news, I got to eat at Yummy's again today. It's so filling. And, I ate with Sara, one of her friends, and her dad. Her dad is pretty nice. He's from Israel, so he thinks and sounds more European. Seemed like a cool guy.
