The Cressida has been modernized

Yes, that's right. Today, we got new tires and a CD deck for the Cressida. I'm soooo happy. It's sweet. Now, it's ready for me. And I am ready for it.

I picked up mom from the airport this afternoon. She went to a wedding in Alabama for some friends of ours, then to CO for my cousin's graduation. Funny thing about military school graduations: everyone still has to follow the chain of command. That means saluting. My dad, his brother, and their brother-in-law were all there. My dad and my uncle (the brother-in-law) are both Lt. Cols. in the Air Force, and my other uncle (dad's brother) is a Cmdr. in the Navy. These are both pretty high up in the chain. Thus, all the little cadets had to salute the three of them. I said they should just tie their hand to their forhead or something.

That is probably the one thing I regret in life. I wish I had gone to the USAF Academy. I would have loved it. I'd also have a 4 year head-start on my military career, since I plan to join when I graduate anyway.

...

Anyway...
