Were there such a land, do you suppose they would have the Popsicle Guild instead of the Lollipop Guild? Perhaps Glinda, the good witch from the North, was originally from Zo on vacation to Oz. I guess witches could fly south for the winter also, right? But the Popsicle Guild could only come from such a land to keep their popsicles from melting. Were they in Oz, the members would be wet and sticky. That's why the Lolipop Guild is so successful there - lollipops don't melt.
Or maybe they just bullied the Popsicle Guild out of town. They did seem pretty tough...
