I just got back from playing the same music twice. We had Acoustic Café at church today, which was nice. I played acoustic bass. But then we went to a woman's house to play for her. You see, she has cancer and will probably not live much longer. She is not able to get around much at all, and attends church via cell phone.
The whole worship team went - 2 guitars, acoustic bass, singers, and percussion - then the woman's whole family was there, plus our pastor. We just played the same set to keep it simple, but it was amazing. It was hard for everyone to sing because they had to fight the tears.
I only hope I'm as strong as she is when I'm in my last days.
