stuff and things

I just finished watching Garden State. It was very good. 2 thumbs up for sure.

Last night, some of us went to the R Bar, which is a bar just off campus, to hear this guy play. Joe K is his name, and he's only 19. But he sounded like a pro. His tunes were a combination of Jimmy Eat World, Fallout Boys, and Ben Folds. He was amazing. I got a CD and it rocks my socks so hard I have to wear sandals.

I wrote another song today. I like it. The chord progression was inspired by the acoustic lines in David Crowder's "Rescue Is Coming." I'm working on making a cheap recording here in my room with my dinky little microphone, but we'll see. In the mean time...
