#302

Well, it's finals week. Though, I only actually have the 1 test. 2 of my classes have reports/presentations, another has a presentation for extra credit, and the teacher of the other drops the lowest test grade (i.e., Ben's not taking the final because he's happy with his grade).

I have the extra credit presentation and one of the report/presentations tomorrow with only an hour in-between for lunch. I started researching and writing my part of the report on Friday while I worked desk. Unfortunately, I left my flash drive in the computer, so I went to get it this afternoon. It wasn't there. Lots of people remember seeing it there, and they left it. But now it has magically disappeared. [crap] So I went upstairs to restart it on my own computer. Then my computer decided to restart itself while I was typing. [random] [double crap] So I went downstairs to work on the computer in the back office, which is very unlikely to crash or anything. 3rd time was the charm. I was able to finish.

But not without a break to the store with Jimmy and M to score some Cocaine. No, not the white powder. The energy drink. It's described as the legal version of speed. The FDA recently stopped approving it, and several areas have made it illegal. As I was falling asleep, I needed the boost. I'm not very swayed by caffeine, and I never drink energy drinks, but I had to give it a try.

It tasted a bit like cherry at first, but with bite. Then my throat started tingling. Then it felt like the bite was moving down to my throat. If my heart started beating faster, it wasn't by much cause I couldn't tell. I drank it over about 20-30 minutes, so maybe that's why. But, it did the trick. I didn't fall asleep while writing the report.

My mind's sort of awake now, but my body is dead tired. I've been up since 7:30 cause I did sound for the kids at church this weekend. That's always fun. I shall try to sleep now. My first presentation is at 11am, then lunch at 12:30, then 2nd presentation at 1:30, then staff at 4:30, then I'm free for the night.

Tuesday, however, should be great fun. I'm going to see the Body Worlds exhibit at Fair Park. I've been wanting to see that all semester, and now I finally get to go. I'm so excited. You have no idea.

OK, I must try to sleep. Wish me luck, and good night.
