I found out two interesting things tonight:
1.) my apartment does not exceed 75 degrees when the air is turned off. I suppose it's because I'm on the 2nd of 3 floors, so everyone else insulates my place. [sweet]
2.) I happened to look under my hood because I heard some noise (which turned out to be nothing) and found a 12 fl oz bottle of brake fluid wedged next to the battery. What in the hoo-ha? Oh, I guess it's not really my car, since I'm borrowing the Good Times van from my folks. If you're unfamiliar with this van, it looks like a green box and says "Good Times" on the side. The back seat folds down and the whole thing has carpet on the floors and curtains on the windows. [good times]
I'm cooking sausage tonight with a Zinfandel. Should be good.
I still need a car. I guess I'll look online somewhere.

why do your parents have the good times van? that's so strange....

but really...my grandparents had two cars. once my grandma got to the point where she couldn't drive, they gave the biggest one to us. it's a free car. why not take it, right? turns out i needed it, so i'm glad we did.
