ESPN's NFL Power Rankings

I'm in a Pigskin Pick 'Em league on ESPN's website with some friends from UNT. It's tons of fun. Each week, you choose which teams you think will win their games. How can it not be fun?

I discovered that ESPN ranks all the NFL teams each week according to how well they played last season, how well they've played this season, who they've beaten and by how much, etc. I thought it would be fun to track how different teams did over the season, so I made a chart (below). Click on it to expand and get the full picture. The teams are organized how they were ranked on week 17.













Most consistent: Kansas City Chiefs (varied by 4 - best of 27, worst of 31)
Least consistent: Atlanta Falcons (varied by 25 - best of 7, worst of 32)
Best average: New York Giants (2.5 avg - best of 1, worst of 8)
Worst average: Detroit Lions (31.2 avg - best of 26, worst of 32)
