Tomorrow, you should call in gay to work
That's right, you heard me. The AP reported this story about how gays want to take a day off to (a) protest the recent Proposition 8 vote in California, and (b) to show the world how much it relies on gays and lesbians. I can't believe they devoted 853 words to this "story".

i heard about that. it's not like the world needs gay people to function. it just needs *people* to function. congrats, gay community, you're gonna prove to the world that you're people and you spend money and have jobs!
