If you haven't been around lately, it snowed a lot here recently. And by that, I mean it snowed the most it has ever snowed here. For all time. Literally. DFW airport had an all-time record of 9.4 inches, and my girlfriend's house had about 11 inches.
Those of you in more snow-friendly environments *cough* (Colorado) *cough* may be thinking, "Golly. That isn't much snow at all, mother." To which your mother would reply, "No, dear, it isn't to us. But Texas is further south and in the gulf plains. That state hardly ever gets that much snow. It's just like how our temperatures are much less like the inside of a volcano during the summer like it is in Texas." "Oh, I didn't know that before, mother. Thank you for the kind lesson in regional weather."
My roommate, Taylor, made the news though. About 26 seconds from the end, he gets a giant snowball dropped on his head, then turns around laughing. Enjoy!
