The Trip

Wow. What a week in Minneapolis! I co-led a team of all girls; I was the only guy on our team of 7. Of the almost 25 or so who went to Minneapolis, I was one of only 6 males on the whole trip. But it was awesome.

I'll keep it brief. My team basically evangelized all week. We took public transportation and walked around Minneapolis and St. Paul just talking to people - either for a local neighborhood church or on our own. There were so many great conversations with people. I'm working on videos for each of the five places (Minneapolis, St. Louis, New Orleans, Atlanta, Eastern Tennessee) CollegeLife sent teams to, and they'll be up on the CollegeLife website soon. Check out the Minneapolis video to hear stories and see other things we did there.

All I can say is God is good. It seemed like every day we'd learn about something in the morning, which would prepare us for someone we'd meet that afternoon. We had great conversations with people about why they don't go to church or why they're bitter at the church or what they believe, etc.

Oh, also, we went to an almost-all-black church on Sunday, the second day we were there. It was the best church experience I've had in my life.

I like the Twin Cities.
