Baseball and Grandpa

The baseball game last night was awesome. We played Baltimore and killed them. They never had a chance. We were winning 8-0 by the end of the 4th inning. They finally got a run in the 8th and a homer in the 9th, but that was no help. Our pitcher, Millwood, pitched the entire game. He only threw 99 pitches. It was amazing. The Orioles only had a total of like 4 or 5 guys on base all night. Amazing. Great game.

I just got off the phone with my grandpa (Mom's dad). He called me this morning, but it woke me up and I wasn't able to answer it. I called him back just now to say hello and see what he wanted (my grandparents never leave messages). It turns out he called me by accident this morning, and didn't realize it until it was already calling me. He's funny with technology. He pretty much has no clue about anything, but at least pretends to try (sometimes).

Back in the day, he worked for AT&T, and they gave him a life-long phone plan when he retired. He's had the same phone for like 15 years or something, so they figured it was time to get my grandparents a new phone. They sent my grandpa a new Razr. It was nice. However, something broke on it, so he sent it back and they sent him a new Razr. But then he complained that the buttons were too small for his fingers. So he called them and they sent a different phone, which was no good, so he sent it back and stuck with the 2nd Razr. He has no idea how to do stuff on the phone because his onld one only had the digital numerical display - very basic. But now that he has a Razr, that's like top of the line, most current everything. It's quite overwhelming for him. He's funny with technology.
