Shooting, futbol, and ... Christmas?

First time to be called Mr. Jumper by more than one person:
THIS WEEKEND
First time to watch a Christmas movie this year:
TODAY

That's right. I am currently watching Home Alone on TBS. It's not even Halloween yet and they're playing Christmas movies. That's just not right.

I played in my first men's intramural soccer game tonight. It was fun. The season started last Tuesday, but I work on Tuesday, so Sundays are the only days for Ben to play. Our usual goalie wasn't there tonight, so I played. Clark Hall has 2 teams, and I'm on the more competitive one. We won like 6-0 or something. We were so much better than the other team that I only had like 2 shots on the goal to defend. There were a few balls kicked in my direction, but they said I couldn't count them as shots. Tomorrow night = co-ed futbol.

In other news, I went camping with my old boy scout troop this weekend. It was awesome. I love camping. I also love shooting. This weekend, my dad and I were teaching everyone the rifle and shotgun merit badges. It was frusterating because I could only get one guy to qualify on the rifle range (my dad was running the shotgun range). Several other guys were doing well, but their skill level eventually leveled off. They stopped getting better. Oh well...you win some, you lose some.

But the weird thing while I was there was that all the kids were calling me "Mr. Jumper." I tried to tell them that Mr. Jumper was my dad - I'm "Ben" or more formally, "Mr. Ben" not "Mr. Jumper." But they wouldn't stop. Every time I heard someone call out for Mr. Jumper, I ignored them for a split second before I rememberedt that that's me. They can't call me Mr. Jumper yet. I'm not old enough to be a "Mr."

Am I?
