Yes, I am. Greg's wedding was awesome. It was, by far, the best organized wedding I have ever been to. There was no chaos, there were no women screaming frantically at each other, the bride wasn't crying because they were running late. Instead, we were all laid back, the photo session finished early, everyone was cooperative...it was great.
Recently, I decided that I want to know how to dance. I supposed that the only way to do so was to actually dance, so that's what I have to do. At Clark's Red & White and this wedding, I decided to just get out there and dance, no matter how silly I looked. And you know what? I had fun. Everyone at the wedding thought I actually knew what I was doing, so I guess I fooled them!
Greg's best man was pretty cool. He was like a meld of Greg's and my personalities. We got along great. Another groomsman, Matt, was a very matter-of-fact fellow. I loved it. We also got along great. The maid of honor just finished school at UNT, one bride's maid just graduated from JBU with Greg and Nicole, and another was Matt's wife. Great people, great fun, great wedding.
All those photos, the ushering, the standing, and the dancing sure wore me out. 1 down, 1 to go.
I've decided that "ush" is a word. A fisher is one who fishes; an usher is one who ushes. Right?
