Marketing, marketing, it's all about marketing

As a newcomer to the marketing world, I am always interested to learn new things about marketing and advertising, etc.... My teacher for my summer school class just passed out a paper introducing the New Product Development Scholar's Program. Basically, I just add a class or two to what I'm already taking, and I get certified in the development of new products. It seems pretty interesting - NPD - like marketing, but also like retail or invention maybe. I think I can dig it.

I have two jobs to pick from. One is basically a shot in the dark, but would be way more fun. The other is a certainty, pays better, and is consistent. What to do, what to do?
