Homecoming

Mom: dad got home at 1am last night!
bungee41: hooray!
Mom: i took the moring off to be with dad. breakfast together! fun!
bungee41: nice
Mom: andy has been BONKERS though
Mom: sticking to dad like glue!!
bungee41: hahaha
Mom: his tail is a constant waggle!
bungee41: hahahaha
Mom: dad keeps saying to him "Andy, i don't have any suitcases in my hand. that means i'm not leaving!"

My dad got home last night at 1:00am. He's been down in San Antonio all summer on active duty. He goes back to work at JW tomorrow to continue his true calling as a pilot. It'll be weird to have him back home again...i guess.

Since I'm up here at school, I would only see him like once every week or two, when I'm at church and he's not traveling. But after living at home all summer, I got used to never seeing him. I saw him down in San Antonio once or twice, and he came up here a few weekends, but it's not the same. I'm not sure why though. I saw him every once-in-a-while over the summer, and I'll see him every once-in-a-while over the school year. But it's different. I guess when he's on active duty, we know he'll have to leave. Here, I'm doing the levaing. I don't know....

Anyway, welcome home dad, and I'm glad you're back.
