Flippin Awesome

We just got our new staff flip tags. You see, each staff member and CHA member has a little tag to flip to show whether we're in the building or not. (this is important for emergency purposes) Last year, it took about 2-3 months before we finally got the new ones. This year, it only took a couple weeks. Strange...

It has also come to my attnetion that I am modest. You may be thinking, "How can someone say that they are modest? Doesn't that cancel it out?" I suppose, but not for me. You could say I was naive, and my eyes have been opened. I really hate giving praise to myself. It just doesn't feel right. Or when Andy or Curtis tell me how awesome I am at guitar, I disagree, saying that I'm not "amazing," just "good." I just love to play and do the best I can. Something just seems wrong about putting myself so high above others. Something to ponder...

It has also come to my attention that my last post sounded a bit down. To the contrary, I am excited that my dad is home. I've hardly seen him at all this summer. In fact, I'm going to spend most of Monday with my parents, as they don't have work and I don't have school. So to those of you who misunderstood (or to myself who may have mis-spoke), I am sorry for the miscommunication...

(I had to make the last paragraph the same as the first two) ...
