I'm so aggravated!

So I'm getting really pissed at my alarm clock. I have an 8am class, so I set my alarm for 6:45. This gives me 15 minutes of snooze, time to take a shower, check some email, and maybe grab a quick bite to eat. In the past, my alarm has failed me miserably. I hit snooze once and it never goes off again, causing me to miss my class. So I switched to my phone alarm, which works perfectly. I went back to my alarm clock last week and it's been working fine. Until today. I hit snooze at 6:45 when it went off, then woke up at 8:51. MAY A THOUSAND CURSES FALL UPON MY ALARM CLOCK!!!

In other news, intramural football playoffs are going on this week. Both the men's team and co-ed team I'm on made the playoffs. Our first games were back-to-back Tuesday night--my working night, so I couldn't go--but the teams we were supposed to play forfeit. Sweet. I didn't miss anything. Somehow the men's team had a bye last night, which puts us in the championship game tonight. But the co-ed team had to play a team called Aggravated last night.

Aggravated is a group of students who have been playing intramural flag football together ever since they arrived here at UNT 4-5 years ago. Each year, they go to the National NCAA flag football championship, where they dominate and win everything. In their history as a team together, they have never lost a game. Last year, we became the first team to ever score against them (which we only did once in the last game against them), and we scored once again this year in the regular season. Each time we play them, they get fewer points against us. They started beating us with like 63 or something. Last night, they only scored 26. It was 8-0 all the way until about the last 3:00, but then they got two quick TDs. MAY A THOUSAND CURSES FALL UPON THAT TEAM! We'll get 'em next year.
