The moon landing was a fake!

...or at least that's what they want you to think. NASA has teamed up with some European countries to develop Cassini, a satellite exploring our solar system. Recently, it sent back photos from above, below, and all around Saturn. If you look at these photos, you'll notice that there are little-to-no stars in the background. This is very similar to the moon-landing photos from the late 1960s and 70s.

I suppose someone is bound to cry "Fake!" but I would imagine most would accept Cassini's photos. Why the double standard? Because people are stupid. Maybe the cameras were set to block out a large quantity of light, due to the lack of atmospheric distortion/reflection, like we have here on earth. Maybe in space, we need to block so much sunlight that the stars disappear. There could be thousands of reasons why the stars don't show up. As exciting it is to stick it to the man, maybe we should let scientists do their job. I think they're doing quite well.

OK...that turned into a bit of a rant. Sorry about that. I'm done. In other news, I'm FINALLY getting a haircut today. And yes, Marisa, I'm going to Plano. Then I'm heading out to Longview to see my old roommate from LeTourneau, among others. That should be fun. Have a good weekend everyone, and I'll see you Sunday!
